80-minute online or face-to-face initial mental health assessment and cognitive/memory disorders screening assessment appointment with a highly experienced, highly specialised, and highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist. This initial clinical assessment appointment will serve to determine whether or not a further, more Comprehensive and Formal Cognitive Assessment Appointment is going to be required / necessary (price includes the cost of a comprehensive initial mental health assessment and cognitive/memory disorders screening assessment, and a full clinic letter/report). Price does not include the additional costs of Memory Disorders Screening Blood Tests, Radiological Investigations (MRI Brain / CT Head), Neurocognitive Testing (which would require referral to an appropriate Clinical Neuropsychologist), or ECGs, if/when/where these are clinically relevant/necessary/required. Each and every additional minute of time spent with the Consultant Psychiatrist will incur a further charge of £6.00 (this is chargeable at the Consultant’s discretion).

To cCancellation and failure-to-attend fees We require at least 24 hours notice for an appointment to be changed or cancelled. We often have patients waiting for an immediate appointment; failure to notify us in good time means other patients miss available appointments. Cancellations also have cost implications for the practice. Although discretion will be used, a charge will be made if you fail to give adequate notice of your cancellation. Failure to attend an appointment without giving any notice | Full fee charged Cancellation of an appointment with less than 24 hrs notice | Full fee charged. Recurrent cancellations at short notice: Pre-payment will be required at the time of booking.
