H pylori breath test (HQBT)
Service Description
An H. pylori breath test is the most common test for H. pylori. It measures the amount of carbon dioxide in your breath after you drink a special solution containing urea. H. pylori bacteria break down urea into carbon dioxide. Excess carbon dioxide in your breath is a sign of an H. pylori infection.
Cancellation Policy
To cCancellation and failure-to-attend fees We require at least 24 hours notice for an appointment to be changed or cancelled. We often have patients waiting for an immediate appointment; failure to notify us in good time means other patients miss available appointments. Cancellations also have cost implications for the practice. Although discretion will be used, a charge will be made if you fail to give adequate notice of your cancellation.
